Howard Construction, Inc. is a family owned company serving the North Bay Area including Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Mendocino and Lake Counties. Owner and President Philip Howard is a Sonoma County native with a strong sense of community and a desire to help others realize their dreams. Philip credits his father and grandfather, both carpenters, with instilling in him a love of building. As a teen he began working in the construction industry doing roofing. He spent years working as a roofer, developing his hands-on skills along with his ability to supervise and managing employees. In addition he became respected for his ability to provide accurate estimates to his clients. At 28, he became a full-time builder, joining a well-established company that provided high-end, new home construction, remodels, and commercial work. Throughout his time with that company he learned the value of communication and quality workmanship. These are the principles he has instilled in his own company, Howard Construction.
